A Trusted Advisor That Works For You
My name is Greg Nicholaides – a fiercely independent risk management advisor. I’m not a Dot.com, an 800 number, or an insurance company employee. I’m an insurance expert dedicated to providing the personal service that my clients deserve and expect. As my client, you’ll be served with integrity, reliability, responsiveness and respect.
For me, the most important principle in establishing a lasting client relationship is trust. My clients see me as their trusted advisor because they know I will always put their best interests first while helping them find the right insurance solution for them. I have a passion for personally serving my clients by taking the time to understand their specific needs – their unique health concerns, their lifestyle, their risk tolerance, and their budget.
Long-Term Care
Long-term care insurance helps pay for the costs associated with long-term care. Long-term care insurance covers care generally not covered by health insurance or Medicare.
Individuals who require long-term care are generally not sick in the traditional sense, but instead, are unable to perform two of the six activities of daily living (ADLs) such as dressing, bathing, eating, toileting, continence, transferring (getting in and out of a bed or chair), and walking.
I have access to a variety of plans that can assist with these long-term care needs
Medicare
Medicare is a single-payer insurance program administered by the federal government that currently covers about 60 million Americans.
As successful as Medicare has been at providing older Americans with affordable healthcare, there are significant coverage gaps that create unacceptable out-of-pocket exposure. These coverage gaps can be addressed however with a range of supplementary insurance solutions.
I specialize in advising my Medicare clients on how to maximize their benefits and be protected from the coverage gaps inherent in Original Medicare.
Health Insurance
Health insurance doesn’t actually insure your health, a healthy lifestyle comes closer to doing that. It does protect your financial health however from the ever-increasing high costs of healthcare. About 50% of Americans acquire their health insurance through employer-sponsored group plans. For those who don’t have access to a group health insurance plan where they work, the cost of adequate health insurance can be prohibitive.
Although the government’s efforts to make health insurance affordable for individuals under 65 have so far been disappointing, there are affordable options available and currently under development.
I stay current with developments in this area and have access to a variety of alternative insurance solutions.
There are various other types of personal insurance that you should consider including:
Life Insurance
Disability Insurance
Accident Insurance
Critical Illness Insurance
Hospital Indemnity Insurance
Short Term Care Insurance
